Welcome. I know, I know… starting a new blog – and a static html site at that – is so 2010.

However, I have stuff to say, and I like (miss) making websites and web content, and why should LinkedIn’s domain accrue all the value from the wonderful notes I write?

I write about the day-to-day realities of turning standards, workflows, and user feedback into tools clinicians can rely on. The focus is usually on the point where good code meets real clinical practice.

You can expect posts on topics like:

  • structured and interoperable clinical data
  • product and architecture tradeoffs in health IT
  • lessons learned from real-world implementations
  • what helps, what breaks, and what is worth fixing
  • ideas for how to make things work better together

Thanks for reading.
